Teacher Education students from a bachelor programme.
Particularly suited for students proficient in English at an advanced level (C level and above in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)).
N.B. Practice placement possibilities fall within Primary/Junior School or “Friskole” (a private school).
Special conditions with regard to the student’s health and physical condition may apply.
Students with a criminal record will not be accepted.
There will be no formal lectures or teaching. Students will participate in 1 - 2 study days arranged by UCL.
Students will draw on the skills they have acquired and applied within the practice placement to complete the written assignment.

Practice Placement

The practice placement entails approximately 30 hours per week on site in a Danish Primary/Junior School or “Friskole” (a private school).
As well, the students will be required to participate in 1 -2 seminars at the UCL University College in Jelling
On completion of the internship, students should be able to:
Completion of the internship requires submission of a written assignment of 12.000 characters (5 normal pages) critically discussing and analysing practice. This will include a comparative study of your country’s pedagogical practice.
The module will be evaluated with a passed/failed denotation.
