Transfer to UCL from a similar degree programme

You can apply to be transferred to a course at UCL if you are following a similar course of studies elsewhere in the country.
You must have passed your first year of study.
You cannot apply for a transfer until you have passed study units corresponding to the first year of the study programme as taught at UCL. If you are studying Social Education, you must have passed the course entitled 'The Basics of Social Pedagogy' (Pædagogens grundfaglighed)
Transfers are made at the beginning of a module or semester.
Transfer between places of study are always done at the beginning of a module or semester.
Transferring to another course depends on whether there are vacancies on the course you are applying for, so it is a good idea to apply well in advance.
Your application form must be sent to UCL
You must complete our own UCL application form when applying for a transfer to UCL.
Please attach to the application form a copy of an updated study log and a motivational letter stating the reasons why you want to be transferred.
Once your application has been processed, a student counsellor or a member of staff at Student Services will reply.
