Traineeship
Doing a clinical placement in Denmark will give you the possibilities to face new professional challenges and solutions within Biomedical Laboratory Science.
Possible Combinations
A traineeship can be combined with the short course InnoAddiction.
Target Group
Biomedical Laboratory exchange students enrolled at one of our partner institutions only.
Purpose
The student from abroad brings the wanted learning outcomes which will direct the learning activities at the clinical placement
Teaching Methods
The student will encounter instruction and supervision.
Conditions
UCL University College offers clinical placements at Odense University Hospital.
In order to complete the traineeship and obtain a certificate, the student has to:
- The student has to have English language skills at B2 level. Only exceptions to this requirement are students from Norway, Sweden, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
- A week is 37 working hours: 4 days per week at the clinical placement and 1 day per week studying (reading relevant literature related to clinical experiences, and reflections, too).
- Follow the agreed timetable and call the traineeship host, if ill.
Tuition Fee
Not applicable for EU/EEA-students and exchange students from partner institutions, all other students must pay. In this case, please send an e-mail to international@ucl.dk to learn more.
The student will be evaluated and if the student brings evaluation/feedback certificate from home institution, it will be applied. There is no exam for traineeships.
