Doing a clinical placement in Denmark will give you the possibilities to face new professional challenges and solutions within Nursing.
Please note that you must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to apply for a clinical placement.
A traineeship can be combined with the 3 week short course Nursing and Patient Education in a Technological and Cultural Perspective.
A traineeship can also be combined with the short course Health Care and Welfare in an International and Multidisciplinary Perspective.

The student from abroad brings the wanted learning outcomes which will direct the learning activities at the clinical placement.
Each nurse setting has a clinical teacher/mentor who is responsible for planning the clinical period and the learning activities. She/he is responsible for the final evaluation/feedback and signing the documents related to the clinical placement.
The Department of Nursing at UCL and the international clinical placements have developed a box of different learning tools that students are offered to use.
Before arrival, the student will receive a scheduled programme for the whole exchange period.
UCL University College, Department of Nursing offers clinical placements at hospitals and municipal settings in the cities of Odense, Fredericia, Vejle, Kolding, Middelfart, Svendborg and Nyborg.

The student will be evaluated and if the student brings evaluation/feedback certificates from the home institution, it will be applied.
There is no exam for traineeships.
