Doing a clinical placement in Denmark will give you the possibilities to face new professional challenges and solutions within Occupational Therapy.
A traineeship can be combined with the short course InnoAddiction from 8 February to 26 February 2021 and also the short course Health Care and Welfare in an International and Multidisciplinary Perspective.
Occupational Therapy exchange students enrolled at one of our partner institutions only.
The student from abroad brings the wanted learning outcomes which will direct the learning activities at the clinical placement.
Each Occupational Therapy (OT) setting has a clinical teacher who is responsible for planning the exchange period and the learning activities. She/he is responsible for the final evaluation/feedback and signing the documents related to the clinical placement.
The OT student from abroad will be connected to a lecturer from the OT department at UCL and at least two meetings will be set up to guide and support the student.
Before arrival, the student will receive a scheduled programme for the whole exchange period.
UCL University College offers clinical placements at the Department of Rehabilitation at Odense University Hospital in the city of Odense, at the municipality of Svendborg and at Rehabilitation Centre in Odense, called Lysningen.

The OT student will be evaluated and if the student brings evaluation/feedback certificate from home institution, it will be applied. There is no exam for traineeships.
